i live in portrero hill.

this garden is
scary&new
and littered with
colors&flavors.
unlike my familiar beds.

these flowers,
in shades of
black/brown/red/yellow/white,
really bring out the
truth [of Western expansion] &
dirt [of Western sprawl] &
decay [of Urban dominance].

but this flora,
separated in patches of
race/religion/gender/finances/sexual orientation,
truly breathes
life [like the Good-ol'-days] &
comfort [like the Golden age] &
love [like on the Silver screen].
into the concrete jungle.

bestfriend, i miss you. i was thinking that you would be able to give me suggestions of some books i should read because you're really good with that sort of thing and we have practically identical tastes when it comes to this stuff. i would much much appreciate it. i love you truly, madly, and deeply. 143 bff <33

bestfriend, i am currently reading Atlas Shrugged which i really enjoy but it's over a thousand pages long. you should read something i want to read and tell me if it's worth the trouble, ha. like House of Leaves. also, if you haven't already, read some Hermann Hesse; Siddhartha and Narcisuss and Goldmund are my favorites. i love you and miss you dearly and think you had better come see me soon so that i have someone to go with me to find a park with swings. we can throw bottles at brick walls too. or light slurpee straws and lids on fire. you know, whatever.
